Taking the discussion of healing in healthcare to its original roots…Mother Nature outdoors was the EXACT breath of fresh air I needed as a laborer in this field. This industry is ever evolving and often it’s too easy to fall into a mundane trap of burnout. Going through the motions of patient to patient to patient while missing the key component of how to tap into that optimal experience of being present, operating mindfulness, & compassion in our advocacy for implementing basic fundamentals of what a positive impact our natural resources can do for patient care. With self care being a viral & vital trend during the height of the pandemic, this symposium brought those same elements into the healthcare arena and really shifted our heart & mind perspective to caring from within so it can penetrate outwards to the care we give. I highly recommend anyone that works in the industry to attend because it’ll wake your heart & mind up so much more! It may be the very fuel needed to reignite the flame to continue caring for our respective communities.
